Our Mission at YBH is to aid individuals in the achievement of the most optimal health and wellness through many avenues to include health promotion and health education. Our Vision at YBH is to be an example of how ALL patients should be treated in primary care by providing exceptional customer service and being attentive to our patient’s needs.

It is our goal to help patients maintain their “Best Health” through the incorporation of best-practice treatment modalities, and the correct and timely identification of illness and disease.

YBH accepts most all insurances and cash payments. We provide care for pediatrics and adults…to include primary care and urgent care needs. We also make same day appointments, accept walk-ins, and have a Spanish translator on-site. Do not go to the emergency department or random urgent care center…come see us!

LaToya Patterson

Provider:

Dr. LaToya Patterson Ph.D., BC-FNP

Dr. Patterson completed her Ph.D., in 2022 from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She has a master’s degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and a second master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been providing care for pediatric and adult patients since 2012. Dr. Patterson is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She teaches in the College of Nursing Graduate Department and has been a full-time professor for over 10 years. It is her goal to ensure all patients are treated with the utmost respect and dignity while receiving medical care. She is a huge advocate for health promotion and health education. Dr. Patterson is also a United States Air Force Veteran. She joined immediately after high school at the age of 17. She has lived in Madison, Alabama for over 20 years. As a provider, she is excited about opening her own family healthcare clinic. She and her team will provide medical services to all populations to include Hispanics, Veterans, and their families.

Ms. Proctor has been in the healthcare field for 13 years. She has been married to her high school sweetheart (Josh) for 14 years. Together they have 4 children. For fun, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Most of her time outside of work is spent supporting and transporting her kids back and forth to sports events.

Ms. Tello is the mother of 3 beautiful children. She has worked in the healthcare industry for 8 years and is extremely passionate about the care she provides for her patients. During her down time, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and cooking. She is also a make-up artist and enjoys making others feel beautiful.

Ms. Shontavia Edwards is the proud mother of 2 beautiful children. She has worked in the healthcare industry for 6 years. During her downtime she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Shontavia is also an avid cook. On the weekends, she has a catering business. She takes pride in cooking delicious meals to share with her family, friends, and community.

Mya Patterson

Medical Technician

Ms. Mya Patterson is a recent graduate from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She was a pre-med student and graduated with a BioChemistry degree. She is an aspiring physician that enjoys providing care to both children and adults. She enjoys volunteer work and is a tutor for students that are pursuing higher education. For leisure, she enjoys spending time with her cat (Gari), reading and exercising.
